Such a heart wrenching story of life and loss. Not only educational but also engaging. This novel taught me a lot about early life in Nigeria as well as the struggles that came with it.

This book was an amazing debut for Ahuruonye, and I look forward to see what is in store for him next.
Would certainly recommend.

This was a very interesting story in writing style that I personally enjoyed very much. I found it especially compelling due to the authentic feel which was well constructed throughout; very believable.
I enjoyed every minute of it..... the entire story came across as honest, intelligent and emotive.

The "Whispering Poet" with its many Igbo proverbs was an incredibly interesting book to read. The amount of work that must have gone into
researching is obvious and I find myself thinking of poignant proverbs during my daily routine. This piece of work really stayed with me and is incredibly valuable. I hope the author
